TMR-favourite VC Pines has returned with ‘Running’, his first new music of 2023. From its opening moments until that spellbinding ending, it’s a hypnotic track filled with interesting grooves that mark the start of a new, more alternative era for the artist. Shimmering production and a variety of contemporary influences blend to form an impressive sonic universe for his warm lead vocal to sit within. He explains that the track is “about loneliness. Never feeling like you really fit into a group of friends.
